Courses and Events

From time to time we run courses that will help you to grow in your faith and provide valuable input into your life as well as putting on events with the aim of having fun together and blessing those in our local community.

You can take a look at the full Church Calendar for more information on all that's going on.

In the Bible we read that Jesus had an active prayer life that was vital to his relationship with God and his ministry. If Jesus needed to pray, how much more ought we as Christians to make it a priority in our lives. Whatever our prayer life looks like, whether we feel like amateurs or seasoned professionals, there is always more to learn.
During Lent, we are encouraging everyone in the church to commit to coming to ‘The Prayer course’ – based on the Lord’s Prayer. This course will help us to go deeper in our relationships with God and to unlock the power of prayer in our lives, both individually and corporately.
The course consists of 6 sessions of 90 minutes and will be run twice a week to enable as many people to make it as possible. Please do see if you can make the time to be a part of this. If you have children, we encourage you to see if you can find a child-sitter for the 6 weeks so that you can be a part of this, or perhaps alternate with your spouse and share what you have learnt in each session. When the family of God come together to pray, remarkable things happen.
