Baptist Hall Hire
As a parish, we have a license to use the Baptist Hall and to let it out for community use. Anyone wishing to hire the hall should read the following infomation and contact the parish office in order to book.
The Baptist Hall is located on Packhorse Lane and is a large room with both toilet and kitchen facilities. It is is available for hire by people and groups within the community.
Hall Room Facilities & Equipment
The Hall Room: 30 chairs, 4 large folding tables, 4 small folding tables, 3 children’s tables, 10 children’s chairs, 8 folding chairs, First Aid Kit and Accident book.
The Hall Room kitchen: Fridge/kettle/Cooker/crockery/cutlery/microwave/ fire blanket/trolley
There is disabled access to the main entrance of the Hall Rooms and Disabled toilet/Baby Change Facilities in the Hall Room.
The room is heated by electric wall heaters.

Any bookings made will be provisional until a complete Baptist Halls Hiring Agreement is completed, signed and a cheque/cash is received to secure the booking.

Hiring of the premises incurs an hourly charge and the placement of a refundable security deposit of £100.
Payments may be made by cash, cheque (made payable to Marcham PCC) or direct bank transfer (BACS):

Please put the surname of the hirer as a reference on bank transfers and let the Parish Administrator know that you have paid.
No debit or credit card payment facility is available.
The payment in full must be paid at least two weeks before the hiring takes place. The PCC reserves the right to cancel the hire at short notice if the hire fee and deposit are not paid in full in accordance with this requirement.
The security deposit is refundable subject to the conditions set out in the Letting Policy of All Saints’, Marcham with Garford. Refunds may be made by cheque or bank transfer, even if originally paid in cash. Intending hirers should ensure that this is acceptable to them before making a booking.
Any cancellation by the Hirer must be made in writing to the Parish Administrator at the Parish Office. If more than 14 days’ notice is given, there is no cancellation fee. If less than 14 days’ notice is given, the Hirer shall forfeit 20% of the hire fee.
