New to Church?

Welcome! Whether you've just moved to the area, or have lived here all your life, we hope our website helps you to find out everything you want to know about our Church.

Some key information about the church...

Where & when does the church meet?

We generally have a morning  (10am) and evening (6pm) service each Sunday at All Saints', but there is also a mid-week communion service at 10.30 am On Wednesdays at Marcham Community Centre.

There is also a time for quiet reflection and prayer between 11am-12pm at St. Luke's in Garford each Sunday. There is sometime background music as well. About once a month there is a proper service at St. Luke's (see the church calendar for information).

All Saints Church is found at the western side of the village of Marcham. It is clearly signposted off the A415, and from North Street in the village. It is situated next to Denman College.
The village of Marcham is found to the west of Abingdon. It is about a mile and a half from the main A34 (Marcham Junction) on the A415. It is about 10 miles to the south of Oxford.

You can see a map on our contact us page

St. Luke's is in Garford, behind the Manor Farm churchyard.

There is parking available on the streets around the church.

What should I expect when I visit the church?

You will receive a very warm welcome from our welcomers who will be able to answer your questions and direct you to where you need to go. Each service is slightly different but will involve singing songs, Bible readings, a talk and prayers.
Tea, coffee and biscuits are served after the service where there is plenty of time to meet new people and ask more questions.

What happens to the kids at church?

We have a fantastic programme for the kids at the Church for ages 0–12. Children stay with their parents at the start of the service as we worship (sing songs!) together for the first part of the morning. Someone will announce when the children need to go to their programme. Take your children to the back of church and someone will direct you to the right place. Look at our Children's Ministry page for more information.

Is there a dress code?

No! Please just be yourself and come dressed in your 'normal' clothes.

Will I have to join in?

Not at all!
You are free to simply observe or participate as much as feels comfortable for you.
