Safeguarding at All Saints'

We take seriously our responsibility to safeguard both children and vulnerable adults. This is not just about doing DBS checks, but about creating a safe and supportive environment for all.

We encourage all our church members to think about doing the basic level safeguarding training offered by the Church of England (online here), but there are a number of roles for which more detailed safeguarding training is essential.

All volunteers in church, particularly those working with vulnerable groups will need to undergo a simple recruitment process that includes references, checks and training. See the tab to the right.

Below are our safeguarding policy and other useful documents - we encourage all church members to familiarise themselves with these documents.
